Favorites Icons are the icons that are placed next to the bookmark in an Internet Explorer favorites list. It is the graphic displayed to the left of a bookmarked site and in the address bar of Internet Explorer. Your browser favorites icon will work in all modern browsers and will be shown next to your web address in the address bar instead of the default browser icon. An advantage of favorites icons is that they stand out, and separate your site from the hundreds of others in the favorites folder. Special Note: Some hosting services don't support favorites icons. The easiest way to create your own favourites icon for your own page is to use one of the software packages that are available at low cost.
